Writing for Broadcast Pieces
In my Writing for Broadcast class I learned many skills which includes writing for TV and radio through audio commercials, PSAs, news stories, etc. Below are two pieces that I am very proud of and show some of the companies and organizations that I am passionate about enough to write about them.
National Road Safety Foundation PSA:
The National Road Safety Foundation has many campaigns that are all about reducing risks of crashes and injuries and bring public awareness to different topics such as drunk, drowsy, and distracted driving. I wrote a PSA for the NRSF that deals with bringing awareness to drowsy driving.
Bombas Audio Commercial:
For an audio assignment we were tasked with writing an audio commercial for a brand we are passionate about. The specific audio commercial I did was about the brand Bombas themself and included what they do to help the homeless and their customers.
